The Classics Hotel Bastille is located within the historic and now trendy district of Bastille, populated by many bars and bistros. The hotel's 36 guestrooms have a modern decor with burr elm furniture, bedside and desktop lighting, and wall art decorations. All rooms provide satellite television, wireless and modem Internet access and safes.
Guests arriving by car can park in the secure onsite garage. Breakfast is available each morning in the hotel's glass conservatory which overlooks the private garden. To keep in touch, Internet facilities are available at the reception, where staff are also on hand around the clock to assist with local information. The hotel is within two kilometres of the Place de Bastille, the site of the French revolution. Also within a kilometre of the hotel is the P?re Lachaise cemetery, the burial site of some of the world's greatest artists. The Gare de Lyon station is two kilometres away and a major link to the rest of France. Charles de Gaulle airport is 26 kilometres from the hotel. The RER B line can be taken in the direction of St Remy les Chevreuses. Change at Ch?telet station for RER A (in the direction of Mame La Vall?e. Change again at Nation station for metro line 9 (in the direction of Pont de S?vres) and alight at Charonne station.
